It's Speeder Time! Sorta

So the parcel with the 2nd ed land speeders arrived today, as you can see below. So the plan now is hunt down heavy bolters in my bits box to equip them, get bases for them and strip the paint. That last one i don't really want to do, simply because they are actually really nicely painted. But I don't think the VIIIth would be happy to have a Blood Angel and Ravenwing land speeder flying around with them, better two Night Lord ones. So it's off to get some nail varnish remover to give these guys a nice bath :-) Unless someone out there knows anything better.

And as for this guy, I've had him a while now and I think he'll be joining the speeder and anything else I find that needs paint stripped in the bath. One legion librarian hopefully ready to go soon. I think the only bit that is 'safe' to strip is the marine, the rest will basically disintegrate unless I've misunderstood what nail remover does to plastic.

C+C welcome

Why do I bother with that, no one's out there. Only joking.

  1. Use neat Detol. it can be used to strip metal, plastic and resin. leave it for about two days and the paint with blister off. you will need to scrub too so make sure you use more Detol and not water. I used Detol for my three 2nd edition land speeders and could not believe how good it was.
